Today, received an email about the new launch of the New Tour Edge Hot Launch golf ball. I am intrigued by this golf ball. I am a decent ball hacker but playing high-end balls are not a strong suit of mine due to me loosing them and having a slice at times. Tour Edge is a favorite brand of mine because they are premium feel and budget friendly. I can tell you I use the Hot Launch E Series 3 wood and 5 Wood and just added the TGS Wedge set to my bag. Here are a few reason I am looking forward to getting my hands on the new Tour Edge Hot Launch Golf ball.
Future Played Golf Ball
We all know that golf balls do help with our game. Its important to be playing the correct ball. Tour Edge has the Exotics golf ball out already. Which we have all seen and some have used but still at a semi-premium price. The new Hot Launch golf ball is on pre-order and shipping 2.2.26 per their website. Being that the pre-order is showing $19.99 the golf ball is affordable for the dozen. Going over the build shows it should be a premium ball for the price. Meaning, if it performs anything given the information I can see me picking up this ball for 2026.
Golf Ball Build
The construction of the golf ball is a 2 piece surlyn core with 312 dimples and a soft feel. 2 piece construction is where I am at with my golf game as I like to have fun while playing serious. I have personally played almost every ball you can get your hands on. From 2,3,4 piece construction from Taylormade TP5, Titlist ProV1, Bridgestone Tour B, Sirxion Q Star, Z Star, Callaway Chome Tour and many more.
I also have played your more affordable options Callaway supersoft, Taylormade Speedsoft, Noodles, Kirkland, ect. I better with the 2 piece construction balls with the soft feel due to me getting better compression at the club face. Soft feel golf balls do not jar my hands furthermore allowing me to focus on smooth swings. 312 dimples is almost perfection for the swing speed I am at.
Tour Edge Hot Launch Golf Ball Characteristics

The Tour Edge Hot Launch gold ball is going to be a mid to high launch golf ball. Therefore, for the high handicap players is going to help off the tee box/fairways. More often We (yes me included) like to play a golf ball that is recognized as premium. Again, this is not helping us play better rather then just for looks. The golf ball is also low spin at long game and approach shots. Its going to help stop the ball from rolling off the back of the green.
